Clear + Brilliant Original Handpiece

The Original handpiece utilizes a 1440 nm wavelength that is absorbed by the water in the skin.

Non-ablative: The stratum corneum remains functionally intact which translates into a safe, low risk treatment that heals quickly and is convenient for the patient. They can apply makeup immediately after and continue their daily activities without risk to the skin.

Superficial (200-300 µm): Perfectly targets the layers of the skin most compromised by early signs of aging such as uneven pigmentation, fine lines and textural changes.

Clear + Brilliant is safe on all skin types because it targets water, not other chromophores such as pigment. The minimally invasive nature of the treatment is one reason why Clear + Brilliant has less downtime and very few mild side effects such as redness and edema.

Clear + Brilliant Perméa Handpiece

The Perméa handpiece utilizes a 1927 nm wavelength that has a significantly higher absorption coefficient than the Original.

Non-ablative: Though the stratum corneum remains intact, the Perméa handpiece creates wider and shallower lesions causing greater superficial disruption, which increases skin permeability.

Topical application immediately post treatment allows the topical to penetrate deeper in order to maximize its benefits. In clinical studies, when C E Ferulic (by SkinCeuticals) was applied immediately after theClear + Brilliant Perméa treatment, patients reported earlier resolution of redness and swelling.*

Superficial (170 µm): Since the Perméa handpiece depth is fixed at 170µm, it effectively treats the tissue where melanin resides. Perméa is also safe on all skin types because it targets water, not other chromophores such as pigment.
